I love the winter holidays. And this past December was extra special, because I had the pleasure and privilege of meeting and working with some of Santa’s awesome elves. Helpers from across our Front Range community gave their time, energy and resources to make gift bags and stockings for Agape patients.
A big THANK YOU to:
- Student Success team
- Alpha Phi Omega-Gamma Theta at the University of Colorado, Boulder
- Community Service, Day program (Adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities)
- High school students in Boulder
- Anonymous elves who dropped the stockings at the office!
We received 80 gift bags/stockings! Our own Agape volunteer elves (Kathy Gibson, Ilyse Streim, Christina Eilert, Naomi Kirshner, Dave Yetter, Joanne Blasé and Susan Randolph) delivered the gifts to over 40 hospice patients. The other gift bags will be delivered to new patients in the next few months.
Santa was pleased with everyone’s hard work and big hearts and has put everyone on the nice list (so I’ve heard). I captured some of our busy elves in clip below.
Happy and healthy New Year to all!
