To Our Friends, Families and Partners in Care,
We’ve had no shortage of challenges in 2021 as medical providers: shifting protocols, staffing issues and the specter of a new Covid variant (to name a few). And as a community, who could’ve predicted a late-December wildfire turning whole neighborhoods to ash and rubble in a matter of hours. Our hearts go out to our friends and neighbors who are facing the aftermath.
Here we are: 2022. And I am more convinced than ever of the need for being real with people, talking about what matters most and providing the absolute best care and support for the individuals and families we serve.
Our North and South Denver care teams are organized, cohesive and resolute, ready to provide the supportive hospice and palliative care people need and deserve. To all who are facing tough times due to illness, hard choices, loss (or all):
May you find strength in what you know to be true, whether faith, family, friendship, our Colorado woods and mountains or the small kindnesses of strangers as you make your way through these days.
Here for you.
Autumn
