Grief Support Groups
When a loved one dies, you are faced with many emotions. Trying to sort through them all and understand why you are feeling the way you are can be a challenging task.
A grief support group can help you address and explore what is “normal”, understand the tasks of grief and develop coping skills to help you navigate your way on this journey. A group provides a time and place for participants to come together and share their experiences, learn from one another and create a bond of understanding and empathy that is the essence of support.
If you have questions about grief support groups or are interested in joining a group, our bereavement team is here to assist you. Please contact us at 720-482-1988.
Newly Bereaved Grief Support Group
Coming together in support of one another can be a powerful tool to help us heal when faced with the death of a loved one. If someone you know has died within the past 4 months, we invite you to join a four-week grief support group at Agape Healthcare’s offices in Greenwood Village. The group will explore what’s normal in grief, how to take care of yourself in this difficult time, different ideas for expressing yourself and working through your grief, and ways to incorporate all of the recent changes into your life. The group will be facilitated by bereavement counselors dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive space for all participants.

As he who has felt the same wound himself”
