Volunteer Services
Agape Hospice Services provides compassion and dignity to support the patients and families we serve. We empower patients and families to make their own decisions and to live fully on their own terms. We strive to develop a caring community that provides compassion and comfort through the end of life.
Our team of highly trained professionals and volunteers work together to meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of patients and families facing a life-limiting illness. Our volunteer program creates ongoing opportunities for community members to share their gifts and talents with those at the end of their life and for those grieving the death of a loved one. We offer volunteer opportunities all over the Denver Metro area and allow our volunteers to choose their own assignments.
We provide very in depth training for our staff and volunteers. The training is free of charge and consists of two days. Session one covers hospice in general and the physical side of patient care. The second session covers the spiritual and emotional aspects of patient care along with information on bereavement services and volunteer responsibilities.

The Agape Healthcare Foundation
Agape is a local Company with our roots deeply embedded in Denver, we are fully committed to serving our community throughout the Front Range of Colorado. This includes the Agape Healthcare Foundation which is a non-profit organization dependent upon the generous spirit of donors like you. Our Foundation is committed to building a legacy of care for people in need at the end of life. We believe in “paying it forward” in our own backyard – 100% of your donation stays in the local community and, 100% of your donation goes toward helping hospice patients in need.
The Foundation provides funds for indigent care, for community education programs, and for fulfilling basic yet serious needs of patients beyond what can be provided through the Hospice benefit. The Agape Healthcare Foundation has provided:
- Financial assistance for cremation or interment for patients with no financial ability
- Funds to help with basic necessities such as clothing & shoes, food, rent & utilities
- Equipment, programs, and specialty items needed to increase quality of life
